Software Implementation Specialist 

(path to Jr Software Engineer)


This role’s primary responsibility is to implement and support API Nation’s customers.

In this role, you will gather customer’s requirements and write basic JavaScript (Node.js) functions and JSON mapping to configure and support of customer’s software integrations. You will become proficient with many software applications which customers use. You will take calls, hold screen-share meetings. Write documentation and guides. Record walk-through videos. Solve tricky technical problems. Work with software engineers internally and those who work for some amazing software partners. This is a technical role best suited for an aspiring software engineer or a technical person looking to advance their skills. If this sounds like a role for you, read on.


About You:

  • You are familiar with JSON data, HTTP requests, and troubleshooting.
  • You have experimented with code, perhaps tried some JavaScript, or used API’s.
  • You are empathetic, love helping customers, figuring out and solving problems.
  • You are a self-starter and work with minimal supervision.
  • You have basic project management skills, and can run projects start to finish.
  • You are very meticulous, persistent, dedicated and obsess over details.
  • You are excited to learn new software and passionate about technology.
  • You love to write. Writing specs, requirements, help docs, diagrams, emails.
  • You are looking to enhance your technical skills or become a software engineer. 
  • You are looking for a small team, the early-stage startup where what you do truly matters.

    • CRM (ex: Salesforce),
